Description

There was a demon named Analasura, son of Yama. He had the power to burn anything from the fire releasing from his eyes. In ashrams, the rishis were doing Yagna to please the Devtas. To disrupt the puja of the rishis, Analasura started the destruction by putting the ashram on fire and demolishing the Havan Kund. Several devtas made the efforts to stop Yama’s son but they failed. When this thing came into the Lord Ganesh’s notice, he rushed to help rishis. Lord Ganesh reached ashram and to stop Analsura Lord Ganesh swallowed him. In this way, Lord Ganesh removed the obstacles of rishis and they finished their rituals without any hassles.

कविं कवीनामुपमश्रवस्तमम् ।
ज्येष्ठराजं ब्रह्मणाम् ब्रह्मणस्पत
आ नः शृण्वन्नूतिभिःसीदसादनम् ॥
